Men’s Empowerment
Funded by the Department of Social Services
KALACC’s Men’s Empowerment Program supports Aboriginal men in the Fitzroy Valley to build strength, connection, leadership and wellbeing.
The program has been co-designed to fill a critical service gap and is delivered in collaboration with Marra Worra Worra, Nindilingarri Cultural Health Services and other community partners.
Focused on men aged 18 to 45+, the program includes on-Country camps, workshops, healing activities, family empowerment, leadership skills, healthy relationships, parenting, mental health and social and emotional wellbeing.
The program is grounded in culture, guided by local voices and designed to support strong men, strong families and strong communities.
