Tackling Indigenous Smoking
Funded by the DAHS
KALACC’s Tackling Indigenous Smoking work supports community efforts to reduce smoking and improve health outcomes across the Kimberley.
Smoking continues to have a significant impact on Aboriginal health, contributing to serious conditions such as heart disease, lung disease, cancer, stroke and other preventable illnesses.
The program helps community members access information, support and encouragement to reduce or quit smoking, while promoting healthier futures for families and young people.
