NAIDOC Week

NAIDOC Week is celebrated nationally in the first week of July each year, recognising the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

For KALACC, NAIDOC Week is an important opportunity to celebrate the strength, knowledge, creativity and leadership of Kimberley Aboriginal people.

It is also a time for the wider community to learn more about First Nations cultures, histories and the oldest continuing living cultures in the world.
